The Construction Superintendent will be in charge of managing ground up and remodel commercial construction projects, typically ranging from $1 million to over $20 million. Your main focus will be overseeing on-site operations to ensure everything runs smoothly, stays on schedule, and meets the highest standards of safety and quality. You’ll work closely with subcontractors, architects, and engineers to coordinate efforts, solve on-the-ground issues quickly, and maintain momentum. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are key to succeeding in this role, as you'll play a crucial part in creating a collaborative work environment and delivering outstanding project results that align with client expectations.
Responsibilities
Project Scheduling & Execution: Develop and manage the project timeline, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to confirm they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Safety Oversight: Enforce safety protocols on-site and take proactive measures to address any hazards.
Subcontractor Coordination: Assign tasks, supervise subcontractor performance, and ensure their work aligns with project goals.
Stakeholder Communication: Keep consistent and clear communication with clients, engineers, field teams, and other stakeholders.
Cost Management: Track expenditures and help keep the project within budget limits.
Site Operations Management: Oversee daily job site activities, including materials handling and equipment upkeep.
